Poucos pilotos, nenhum público, e o evento passaria despercebido não fosse a MaxiTuning ter decidido fazer uma reportagem. Ficámos admirados até que tenha sido o próprio director da revista a deslocar-se de Lisboa a Viana do Castelo para fazer a breve reportagem. Haja fartura!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#ff9900;"&gt;Agora, também convém revelar a verdade aos adeptos portugueses e é isso que nos traz aqui.&lt;/span&gt; Quando, há um ano, com a DPR a nascer e a tentar organizar o primeiro curso de drift com pilotos ingleses no Porto, com toda a complexidade e custos que isso trazia, a revista MaxiTuning, num email dirigido ao então director da DPR, explicava que a sua revista não faria qualquer divulgação do curso nem da DPR porque, dizia ele, a DPR era apoiada pela Magiktuning, sua concorrente. Mesquinhisse do sr. Passarinho e da sua revista que fez com que a DPR não pudesse contar com a promoção de que necessitava. &lt;span style="color:#ff9900;"&gt;A MaxiTuning pôs acima do interesse jornalístico de um evento os seus interesses comerciais!!!&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#ff9900;"&gt;Mesmo nos eventos seguintes - Baltar e Silverstone - nunca a DPR mereceu qualquer linha da revista Maxituning.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;E isso teria sido muito importante. Que nos desculpe a Drift Unit mas, por exemplo, o curso de Silverstone, como notícia, teria igualmente merecido da MaxiTuning alguma atenção. Mas não. A MaxiTuning esteve sempre em silêncio. Nenhuma linha. Para eles, a DPR não existia. Mas quando o primeiro curso do Porto teve de ser suspenso não deixou o sr. Passarinho de lançar as suas "bocas". Claro que depois também ignorou Baltar e ignorou Silverstone.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#ff9900;"&gt;Jornalisticamente a atitude da Maxituning para com a DPR foi sempre deplorável.&lt;/span&gt; Todavia, jamais a DPR fez algo que pudesse ter gerado tal comportamento anti-ético e tão pouco profissional. Felizmente que agora a DPR não precisa dos favores da MaxiTuning.&lt;br /&gt;Ainda bem que a Drift Unit teve o apoio e a visibilidade que nós nunca tivemos nas páginas daquela revista.
